About John's Sales and Service John’s Sales & Service was founded in 1964 by John L. Lewis Jr. as a provider of supplies to the many full service filling stations and auto shops of the time. Our first “warehouse” was a one car garage and our first “store” was a 1957 Chevy station wagon. Over
the years, with the disappearance of full service stations John’s Sales
& Service gradually changed to become a service oriented industrial
supplier of Abrasives, Cutting Tools and MRO supplies.
We now represent many of the World’s top manufacturers in these
areas. Operated
successfully since 1964 by John and his wife, Odessa, they were joined in
1991 by their son; Mark Lewis, and in 1994 by their daughter, Gayla. In 1999 upon John and Odessa’s decision to
“semi-retire” the business was sold to Mark.
Now
in it’s second generation John’s Sales & Service continues to grow and gain recognition as a customer oriented full
service supplier to the Contracting, Fabrication,
Manufacturing, Metal Working, and Oil field service companies from
West Texas to any where in the U.S. and beyond. John’s
Sales & Service is committed to continuing the tradition started by
John Lewis in 1964:
